Yemeni Initiative for Peace and Development
The International Conference for Peace and Development in Yemen was held in Salzburg, Austria, on 10–11 April 2026, organized by the Yemeni Initiative for Peace and Development (YIPD) in partnership with the Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue and under the patronage of the City of Salzburg.
Held under the slogan “Towards a Fair, Comprehensive and Sustainable Peace in Yemen through an Active and Responsible International Partnership”, the conference focused on linking peacebuilding with sustainable development and producing practical and actionable recommendations for Yemen.
The report includes the outcomes of the political and development workshops, covering peace guarantees, state restoration, transitional justice, economic recovery, governance, transparency, and the rule of law.

Strengthening governance, judicial independence, anti-corruption mechanisms, accountability institutions, and public trust in the state.
